REConf

Welcome to the website of REConf 2023.

The REConf (Requirements Engineering Conference) is Europe's leading conference with a focus on requirements engineering. New methods, trends and tools are discussed and presented here in lectures, discussion panels and workshops.

The REConf 2023 took place on 24-28 April.

Many thanks for the lively participation. Thank you for the many exciting conversations and the enthusiasm everyone brought to the topic!

At REConf 2022, we agreed on #gerneperdu in the circle of participants. That's why we keep it that way on the REConf page and address you as "you".

RE – That Extra Something

Let’s be honest, would you like a soup made without salt? It fills you up, but is it satisfying? No! A soup should taste good and its flavours excite us, so that we want second helpings!

Through requirements engineering, we can create this enthusiasm in our customers. They will, figuratively speaking, love the soup, i.e. the products and services. Because RE is about understanding wishes and expectations. The good taste, the trust in quality, innovation and involvement of many people – and ultimately, coherent flavours in hardware & software development – come through sustainable RE. Just like systems engineering. A wonderful approach to this is through agility.

Die REConf 2022 - Das schönste Märchen ist das Leben selbst und das Leben mit Menschen entsteht einfach so - Man muss die Momente nicht erzwingen - Einfach mal machen, mit einer Portion Kreativität und Hingabe. Mal sehen, was entsteht. Könnte JA unvergesslich werden.

War sehr interessant, konnte vieles mitnehmen und neue Sichtweisen gewinnen. Das Hauptthema Kultur kam mir allerdings zu knapp. Für mich ist das essenziell im SE/RE. Vielleicht hätte man einen ganzen Track spendieren können.

REConf 2022 - nach 2 Jahren Pause, ein gelungener Auftakt mit tollen Keynotes und interessanten Workshops, Fach- und Toolvorträgen sowie Ausstellung. Echte Anwesenheit mit persönlichen Gesprächen, Diskussionen, Ideenaustausch und Lernerlebnissen, teils bei Kaffee und Kuchen kann einfach nichts ersetzen ;)

Die REConf 2022 zeigt erneut, dass RE und dessen Optimierung weiterhin wichtige Themen im Entwicklungsalltag sind. Neue Entwicklungsmethodik, wie Agilität und dessen Skalierung, ersetzen keineswegs RE und die zuvor in dessen Kontext erlangten Erfahrungen.
