A significant success factor in introducing or improving requirements engineering (RE) in an organisation is the empowerment and motivation of those employees involved in requirements.
The skills that individual employees need varies according to the roles that they have in the organisation. Because of our employees many years' of practical experience, we are also able to offer you a wide range of training courses and workshops for the various roles involved in dealing with requirements and their associated artefacts. We will develop an individual training concept for your staff with you.
We offer a large number of training courses on a variety of topics in the area of requirements. This includes both courses in writing good requirements, as well as training in the use of requirements management tools.
Methodology Training (1 Day)
This one-day training course covers the principles of writing requirements proficiently.
Methodology Training (2 Days)
This two-day methodology training highlights the key role played by requirements in the system development process.
Training (2 Tage) Dieses interaktive Training orientiert sich am Lehrplan des Agile Requirements Engineering Institutes (Agire) und bereitet Sie optimal auf die entsprechende Zertifizierungsprüfung vor.
In addition to our training courses, we also offer workshops. The main focus of such workshops is interaction with the participants. So that you can apply what you have learned directly in your everyday work, HOOD Workshops are characterised by fewer slides, with more specific exercises and examples instead. As part of these workshops, we regularly offer new and very specialised topics for dealing with requirements.
Workshop (1 Tag)
Dieser Workshop bietet grundlegendes RE-Wissen und richtet sich an alle, die bisher noch keine oder nur wenig RE-Erfahrungen gesammelt haben.
Here you can find out more about HOOD Training leading to Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering (CPRE) status, in accordance with the syllabuses of the International Requirements Engineering Board (IREB®) e.V.
The IREB aims at providing a certification model with syllabi and exams and thus fostering further education within requirements engineering. In the end, the intention is to improve requirements engineering and business analysis in practice. The IREB® Certification Model consists of three subsequent levels. For each level certain syllabi are defined, which are focused on industry needs and based on academic fundamentals.
We offer all CPRE training either as in-house courses at your company's premises, or as part of our public training courses.
Methods Workshop (3 Days)
The Foundation Level covers basic knowledge in the areas of collecting, analysing, specifying, documenting, testing and managing requirements. If desired, with a certification exam.
You can also book a combination of classroom training and eLearning (only in English): our eLearning package will allow you to prepare for attending a training course and the examination.
In the unlikely event of you not passing the examination after completing classroom training, you will receive free access to the eLearning package.
Methodology Course (3 Days)
After the course, you will be in a position to handle and develop requirements either in specific development projects or in a general context.
The certification exam (duration: 75 minutes) takes place directly after an present training at your company (onsite training) or at our office (public training). This applies to the IREB® Foundation Level (except the e-learning training) and to the Advanced Level - Requirements Management . The Advanced Level also requires the completion of an assignment, in addition to the examination.
We will also be pleased to organise the examination as part of your in-house training course.
