A significant success factor in introducing or improving requirements engineering (RE) in an organisation is the empowerment and motivation of those employees involved in requirements.
The skills that individual employees need varies according to the roles that they have in the organisation. Because of our employees many years' of practical experience, we are also able to offer you a wide range of training courses and workshops for the various roles involved in dealing with requirements and their associated artefacts. We will develop an individual training concept for your staff with you.
Here you can find out more about HOOD's training to become a Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering Foundation Level (CPRE-FL) according to the syllabi of the International Requirements Engineering Board (IREB®) e.V.
The IREB® provides a certification model with syllabi and exams and thus promotes the standardization of training and further education in requirements engineering. The IREB® certification model consists of three levels. Specific curricula are defined for each level.
As an accredited IREB training provider, HOOD is offering 3 different formats for IREB® CPRE-FL Training:
- E-Learning in German and English, 3-month access
- Public classroom or online training course, 3 days
- Onsite classroom or online training course, 3 days
Methods Training (3 Days)
The Foundation Level covers basic knowledge in the areas of collecting, analysing, specifying, documenting, testing and managing requirements. If desired, with a certification exam.
CPRE Foundation Level - E-Learning (3 Month Access)
This unique E-Learning opportunity is an ideal way to prepare for the CPRE-FL certification examination of the IREB.
In the unlikely event of you not passing the examination after completing classroom training, you will receive free access to the eLearning package.
The prerequisite for AL certification is a completed certification according to Foundation Level.
This applies to the IREB® Foundation Level (inclusive the e-learning training) and to the Advanced Level - Requirements Management . The Advanced Level also requires the completion of an assignment, in addition to the examination.
You can book the training with or without exam. We will be pleased to organise the examination for you.
We offer a large number of training courses on a variety of topics in the area of requirements. This includes both courses in writing good requirements, as well as training in the use of requirements management tools.
Methodology Training (1 Day)
This one-day training course covers the principles of writing requirements proficiently.
Methodology Training (2 Days)
This two-day methodology training highlights the key role played by requirements in the system development process.
In addition to our training courses, we also offer workshops. The main focus of these workshops is interaction with participants. HOOD workshops are characterised by a small number of slides, with an emphasis on more specific exercises and examples in order to apply what has been learned directly to your daily business. Within the framework of these workshops, we often offer new and very specific topics dealing with requirements.
The key to all our workshops is a practical approach incorporating plenty of exercises.
Workshop (1 day)
This workshop covers the basics of requirements management and is aimed at all those who have had little or no RE experience.
Information event (1/2 day)
We have developed an information event for managers and interested parties to assist decision-making and getting started in the area of AI.
We are also happy to offer customised workshops.
Example contents: scaling agility, backlog management, stakeholder management, sustainable RE and modelling.
