At the World Café, you can expect an interactive exchange format in which you engage in conversations with others in small groups at different tables on a variety of interesting topics.
Each table has a dedicated topic, introduced by a so-called Table Host – the person responsible for that topic. This year, the Table Hosts will be provided by our partners. The Table Host will give a brief introduction (maximum of 5 minutes) and then facilitate the discussion within the group.
You are warmly invited to share your thoughts, ideas and experiences. Please write them down – each table is equipped with Metaplan boards, Post-its and plenty of pens for this purpose.
Every 20 minutes, you move to a new table, where you will encounter a new topic and new discussion partners. The Table Host remains at the table and briefly summarises the key insights from the previous group for the next participants. In this way, the collective knowledge of all participants is gathered through open exchange.
At the end of the World Café, the Table Hosts summarise the most important insights from their respective tables. In a relaxed round, participants then revisit all tables to take in the results from each group.
This creates a lively and creative dialogue, bringing together a wide range of perspectives and valuable impulses.
