The Gesellschaft für Systems Engineering e.V. (GfSE) is Germany's leading professional association for systems engineering. Since its founding in 1997, it has pursued the goal of promoting and further developing systems engineering in German-speaking countries and providing a vital environment for innovation, networking, and collaborative learning.

As a non-profit association, the GfSE sees itself as the forum for systems engineering (SE) in German-speaking countries and therefore as a central platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience between industry, research, and academia. Its focus is on the further development of methods and standards, the transfer of know-how, and the promotion of the application of systems engineering for the successful design of complex systems.

Through conferences, seminars, working groups, and publications, the GfSE creates a space for anyone interested in SE to exchange knowledge and experience between industry, research, and academia.
