As a consulting and training house with a focus on method development and mediation in requirements and systems engineering, we SOPHISTs (SOPHIST GmbH) have been supporting our customers methodically and operationally in the classic and agile project environment for over 25 years. Since the foundation in 1996 by Chris Rupp, our consultants provide their know-how to companies that want to design their system and software development effectively and efficiently in national and international projects on every level.

Furthermore, we are speakers at national and international conferences, authors of the most successful works on requirements engineering and UML, and a motley bunch of highly motivated, dynamic people whose success is built on competence and fun.

In order to standardize the qualifications of people working in the field of requirements engineering, Chris Rupp, the managing partner of SOPHIST GmbH, has founded the International Requirements Engineering Board e. V.
(IREB e. V.).
