Welcome to the website of REConf 2024.

The REConf (Requirements Engineering Conference) is Europe's leading conference with a focus on requirements engineering. New methods, trends and tools are discussed and presented here in lectures, discussion panels and workshops.

The REConf 2024 with the motto "RE – A Constant in Change" took place on 22-24 April. 

Many thanks for the lively participation. Thank you for the many exciting conversations and the enthusiasm everyone brought to the topic!

The next REConf with the motto ‘Next Level Requirements Engineering’ will take place on 5 - 7 May 2025 in Munich.

RE – A Constant in Change

The world is changing faster than ever. Global crises and technical advances are increasing complexity and presenting a multitude of new challenges in product development. Systems engineering and requirements engineering have also been confronted with the issues of artificial intelligence, agility, and new working practices. New generations of employees are taking over responsibility for system development.

A clearly defined vision forms the basis for dealing with change and complexity. Requirements engineering has taken up the cause of supporting people in describing this vision. Requirements management also makes it possible to react flexibly and dynamically to change. It forms the constant that can show and consolidate the way through change. Let’s explore together how requirements engineering can provide security in times of change and what we can expect in the future.
