Process Definition

The first step in the process definition is an analysis of the existing processes. The analysis concentrates on the development surrounding regarding RM&E, identification and description of the Stakeholders of the project, the interfaces to customers, suppliers, partners, marketing, and on the current data model. A description of the current processes is prepared.

Authors of requirements specifications need to be supported by a process to help them to produce all necessary requirements documents in appropriate quality, both within their development department and in adjacent departments. This can be achieved by the definition of a set of activities based on proven methodology. Within this process modelling, responsibilities and borders to other processes will have to be clarified. Other organizational units or roles, e.g. purchase and marketing, have to be considered during modelling of the process as well. On this basis, a suggestion for an improved process is prepared.

HOOD helps you define a new or changed RM&E process and seamlessly integrate it into your current development process.
