The HOOD Group has extensive experience of requirements management / requirements engineering within the rail industry, having successfully led countless projects and training courses at rail companies and their suppliers.

For example, HOOD intensively supported the exchange of specifications between rail companies and their suppliers and established architectural frameworks for them, based on SysML (DoDAF, NAF, etc.)

HOOD has actively defined processes and developed methods as part of an initiative to improve software development and to define binding product-development processes.

HOOD led an RM-tool evaluation and assessed the usability of chosen tools during piloting, in order to confirm the selection decision.

HOOD coached pilot-project teams and identified criteria for evaluating the tool and helped to improve process descriptions. The HOOD Software Division implemented the necessary customisations to the RM tool.
